ABOUT THE TWINS

Collington Avenue is a blog by sisters Whitney and Brittany. 

As twins, we share a love for fashion, as well as the same middle name.  Collington is our mother's maiden name and we decided to pay homage to her and the name she passed on to us because she taught us that first impressions are lasting.  Thus born the name of our blog, Collington Avenue, because it was from her that we learned we should always look presentable when we walk out of our front door. 

Both having demanding careers during the week; we definitely enjoy our weekends off where we have the opportunity to just be creative and showcase our style in the city of Greenville. This visual outlet was the perfect 'avenue' to express our personal fashionable trends and how we achieve that. 

Though we have practically the same taste in clothing and shoes, our individuality definitely outshines that, and brings to life whatever we wear in our own unique way. Brittany, the more conservative of the two, loves more classic pieces to express her elegant classy style. Whitney, being the rebel of the duo, loves to play with different abstract prints and pieces to hone in on her edgy persona. No matter what, we always compliment each other. 

Collington Avenue is our journey, our art form, our outlet, our passion, our fashion, and something that we just love to do together. Stay tuned for many more visuals to come.
